Museum and Arts Center: Small natural history and art musuem in Sequim, WA on the Olympic Peninsula. Has fossils of the Manis Mastodon which was discovered with a bone projectile point. Other fossils include local molluscs.

Lubbock Lake Landmark: This site describes the research and programs at the Lubbock Lake Landmark - an archaeological preserve containing evidence of peoples on the Southern High Plains for almost 12,000 years. Late Pleistocene fossils of mastodons and bison are also found.

Garvies Point Museum official website: Garvies Point Museum and Preserve is located on Long Island's north shore in New York State. We are a center for regional geology research. Our exhibits deal with regional (Long Island and New York State) geology, fossilization and minerology and the ehnography and archaeology of northeastern Native Americans. Our exhibit "Drifitng Lands and Ancient Seas" details the geology of New York State coordinated with plate tectonics.
